Intern
Location: Austin, TX; mostly remote with some in-person work
Compensation: Paid internship (first semester: $20 per hour; future semesters may increase)
Duration: Semester-based (flexible)
Schedule: 20–30 hours per week, 4+ days per week (5 days preferred)
About the Internship
Point 600 is seeking an Analyst Intern to support our consulting team at the intersection of data, communications, and technology. This internship is designed for current students or recent graduates who are curious about how data can be used to improve corporate communications.

As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with real client projects while learning from experienced consultants. This role is about asking questions and building foundational skills in research, analysis, and client service. ​

What You’ll Learn & Do
You will:

Support research efforts, including social media listening, surveys, interviews, and document review

Assist with data analysis related to communications measurement and evaluation

Help turn research findings into clear insights and takeaways

Create charts, dashboards, or visualizations to help tell a data story

Support project coordination by helping track timelines, tasks, and deliverables

Help prepare meeting agendas, discussion guides, and notes for internal and client meetings

You’ll leave the internship with a better understanding of how consulting teams work and how data informs communications strategy.
